Who am I
The question of "Who am I?" is one of the most significant existential inquiries one can ask. To begin to answer that question, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Michael Andrew Bacoto, or simply MAB. Originally from the Philippines, I immigrated to Canada in 2007 with my family. We settled on the East Coast of Nova Scotia, where we resided for eight years before I relocated to Alberta in 2015.
It was in Alberta where I discovered my passion for graphic design and decided to pursue it as a course of study at the Edmonton Digital Arts College. Since then, I have dedicated myself to developing my skills and honing my craft. Through my work, I strive to make a significant contribution to the field of graphic design, leveraging my unique perspective and creativity to create visually stunning and engaging designs.
The mission of a chosen career (Why do you do what you do?)
Each day, I wake up with a deep sense of gratitude and fulfillment, as I am living my lifelong dream. Ever since I was able to pick up a pen and paper, I have aspired to be a visionary, much like the great painters and innovators of our time. My mission is to create a world that encompasses what currently exists, and what should be. Through my artistic expression, I aim to inspire and captivate audiences, drawing them into a world of creativity and possibility.
Through my work, which spans various mediums such as paper, web, and video, I have been able to establish a unique perspective and showcase my abilities as a visual storyteller. I take pride in my ability to bring ideas to life, whether it's through the written word or captivating visuals. My passion for my craft is what drives me to wake up each day with a renewed sense of purpose and determination to continue creating and innovating.
